Every design demands its own requirements from one or more material. Whether for its aesthetic qualities or for its singular ability to be manipulated into a desired shape or form, material selection has become a crucial factor towards the visual and structural success of my work.

The simple use of contrasting materials can dramatically change the aesthetics of a design. I often use aluminium to break up areas where there is too much of the same material, supplying an optical balance throughout its components.
